Chief Officer - North Lanarkshire
Ross started his career in health and social care within NHS Lanarkshire’s Health Promotion Department, completing his Master of Public Health degree at Glasgow University during that time. He then moved into operational management as a Service Manager in the Cumbernauld area of Lanarkshire, before being seconded to manage the Health Board Boundary Changes for NHS Lanarkshire and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde from 2013–2014.
Following completion of that exercise, Ross then moved into the post of Acting Head of Planning and Performance for the North partnership in Lanarkshire in 2014 before successfully applying for the new integrated post of Head of Planning, Performance and Quality Assurance within the North Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership in 2016.
Ross moved into the role of Chief Officer for the North Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership in June 2019 and joined the Chief Officer Executive group in 2021.
