Suzanne graduated in 2006 with a Law degree from the University of Glasgow before embarking on a Masters in Human Rights and International Politics. Passionate about social justice issues, Suzanne worked initially in Community Safety Glasgow providing policy support to the violence against women team followed by a short period as an alcohol and drug development worker. In 2012, Suzanne moved to the chief executive department in Glasgow City Council as a corporate policy officer leading on strategy development in relation to health improvement, equalities and children’s rights. During this time she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health.
In 2016, Suzanne became policy manager to the Chief Officers Group for Health and Social Care Scotland. Suzanne plays in an integral role in supporting the group to shape the future direction of health and social care services at a national level.
